Easter Soccer School 2012

Need something for the kids to do over Easter?

The Easter Soccer School will run from 3-5 April 2012 and will include some new opportunities for our players this year.

In addition to the regular 3-day soccer school, our goalkeepers will be offered specific coaching on 3 April and a development centre for 15 to 18 year olds will be held on 5 April.

Does your son or daughter enjoy football?

Would they enjoy joining a local football club, learning new skills and making new friends? If the answer is yes why not come and join in the fun at the Junior Twyford Comets! We meet every Saturday at 10.15 in the middle of King George V Recreation Ground in Twyford (during term time).

So how does it work?

• The children are sorted into their year groups so they play with their friends.
• The Junior Twyford Comets welcomes boys and girls aged 5, 6 and 7 (school years 1 & 2 train together but play separately).
• We meet every Saturday morning in term time on King George V Recreation Ground in Twyford between 10.15am and 11.15am.
• The cost is £2 per session. You only pay when you turn up and you can come as often as you like.
• It is very much about having fun in a non-pressure environment, with the children developing skills through a variety of training exercises.

The soccer school is run by volunteer coaches who are supported by a well organised club structure. The club has strong links with Reading Football Club and has long since acheived the FA Charter Standard.
